Agenda:
1. QSFP+: - Results of the STA meeting indicated no issues with updating
the standard per NetApp comments to include additional SFF specification
references for higher speed QFSP+ configurations and remove references
regarding support of the standard with regards to QFSP+. Discussion welcome
if required during the call.
2. Letter ballot comments needing PHY feedback:
2.1 Page 146, in reference to figure 116, the following comment was
submitted:
The reference pulse response cursor (peak-to-peak) does not occur at the
peaks of the probability of signal occurrence.
2.2 Page 157, table 34 in reference to physical link rate long-term
accuracy:
Please define long-term (how long is 'long').
2.3 Page 170, figure 131 in reference to the axis labels:
Coefficients have been defined as normalized coefficients in the reference
TX section, despite never being named as such. So there should be no
denominator: consistent axis titles are C1 and C3.
2.4 Page 172, table 145 in reference to the values for hold hold hold (top
line of table):
Change to dashes (not applicable).
Since no change on the TX characteristics is expected, this represents the
sum of the measurement error + environmental variations between two
measurements of the same output. It is not cons
istent that the tolerances allowed when a change is applied (i.e., all the
other lines of this table)are the same as the measurement error +
environmental variations that will also be present in these cases.
Proposing to remove the tolerances for the hold/hold/hold case.
3. New items.
