CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Now that the SAS-3 efforts are nearly behind us, the SCSI Trade Association
will be hosting the first in a series of meetings on Tuesday May 7th to begin
the process of defining the requirements for SAS-4
As part of the March T10 Plenary STA Liaison Report, we presented our “wish
list” for 24Gb/s SAS.  There are also a number of issues and decision points
facing 24Gb/s SAS development.
All T10 and current STA members are invited to this discussion and are
welcome to submit presentation proposals to STA for this event.
Please check the T10 meeting map for the precise time and location.
STA will make available up to six, 15 minute presentation slots, and while we
made some suggestions at the Plenary, the topics are open to most anything we
should be considering in future SAS generations.
Please respond directly to clyon at scsita.org  by May 1st with your
presentation topic and we’ll add you to the agenda!
STA would also like to congratulate T10 for the efforts required to forward
SAS-3 for letter ballot.
This is a very important industry milestone and your efforts are greatly
appreciated.
