Thanks, that answers my question. I have removed X from the abbreviations
list but have added it to the tables key for now. We will debate your other
comments on the X in the working group. If it ends up going away I will
remove it from the tables key.

One of my letter ballot comments requests elimination of the X option and
replacing it with a more appropriate option. That will get around having to
define what X means.

I am working on the letter ballot comments on SBC-3 and have come across a
code value of X in the Type column of the Commands for direct-access block
device table (table 31) and I can't figure out what it is supposed to mean.
Does anyone know the what X stands for???
