Hello Ai-san,
I asked Kohda-san about this issue. Then I remembered that we discussed about
numerical expression and section layout at the beginning of Fuji7.
At 01/21/2006, George Penokie (T10 editor) released T10 style guideline. Mark
Overby transferred it to T13 on the day. Bill McFerrin posted an email that
proposed an adjustment of MMC5 to follow the T10 style guideline.
Kohda-san explained this situation in Fuji meeting. Then Kohda-san commented
that he followed T10 style guideline for the numerical expression. Members
wanted to keep the Fuji section layout.
The venues of the submission of Fuji document are SFFC and T10. To SFFC we
will
submit our document to be a SFFC document. To T10 we will submit our document
to
be a proposal document from ODD industry. So we (editors) refer to a style
guideline of them. SFFC does not have its style guideline, so editors
referred
to T10 style guideline. At 01/21/2006, the T10 style guideline said the
numerical expression was "ISO style". So Kohda-san wrote "ISO style" in 1.9
Change history of Mt.Fuji Ver. 7 Revision 0.6.
At 08/26/2011, I received a comment from Joe Breher and Kevin D. Butt about
Units of measure. So I followed the T10 style guideline about the numerical
expression again. The current style guideline "T10 Style Guide (10-316r6)"
does
not use the "ISO style". So I changed the "ISO style" to "T10 style".
Ai-san, how do you feel this history?

Hello Katata-san,
Thank you for your effort to edit the huge document.
I have one question about the document style.
According to Fuji7 and later documents, it was clearly said that Fuji
group adopted ISO style as its document style as follows;
The representation of decimal number and decimal sign used in this
specification is ISO style (i.e., each group of three digits from
decimal sign are separated by a space and a comma is used as the
decimal sign). Table 3 shows the example of decimal number
representation.
But you changed above sentence to as follows;
The representation of decimal number and decimal sign used in this
specification is T10 style
Why did you change the document style from ISO to T10 without any
discussion among Fuji members?
Best Regards,
