This is fine with Quantum.

No objections from HP. I believe that would be a useful clarification.

Subject: SSC-4: Sequential-access device log page
In the sequential access device log page (0Ch) there are several
parameters defined where there is the use of the term "medium". This
has caused some confusion about whether the intent is to report values
based on what has actually been committed to the medium or what has made
it into the object buffer (e.g., during writes are the blocks that have
successfully been received into the buffer part of the parameter or only
those that have been flushed to medium).
The intent when I brought the proposal to add the parameters from 0004h
on is that it be the logical state of the medium, not the committed
state of the medium. It is intended to be used as a gas gauge for the
operations being processed.
Are there any objections to refining the wording to clarify this?
Thanks,
