The posted document says that the website will not be available till
Sept 07, however the TBD was not update and neither was a definition
provided, which is what I thought we voted on as a revise proposal.

In the vein of beating the dead horse ...
07-295r1 was posted, but no DNS server that I have access to seems to
know where that website lives. Just pointing out that there is either a
typo in 07-295r1 or something is missing.

Dear Mr. Geddes,
I find myself in the embarrassing position of having to correct
your description of what T10 approved.
T10 approved 07-295r1 (r0 as revised), and the specific revision
to be made is the addition a web address for and description of
the TrustedFlash Forum.
As of this writing, 07-295r1 has not been posted to the T10 web
site. May I recommend watching the T10 web site for its posting.
Please forgive my impertinence for attempting to guess the next
question in advance, but ... As SPC-4 editor, my policy is to
not incorporate proposals until the approved revision has been
posted to the T10 web site.
All the best,
.Ralph

Brian,
Proposal T10/07-295r0 assigns a new value, EDh, to the Security_Protocol
field in the SECURITY PROTOCOL IN command. According to the proposal,
the meaning of this field is defined by the "TrustedFlash Forum".
I have not been able to locate or identify an entity that goes by the
name of "TrustedFlash Fourm".
Furthermore, the proposal, T10/07-295r0 was voted on and approved at the
July '07 T10 meeting. Therefore, it appears that T10 has granted a
unique value to the Security_Protocol field in the SECURITY PROTOCOL IN
command to an entity that does not exist.
Can someone please clarify this for me?
Regards,
David Geddes

The first of these two sessions (Workshop A1) is free with advance

James Borden of Microsoft speaking on IEEE 1667, as well as Curtis
Stevens of Western Digital
speaking on "Password Locking Standards for Flash Media." The latter
will include aspects of
T10 and T13 re: security for media including flash-based media.
The second of these two (Session 205) is open to paid conference
attendees.
The 3-day event on Aug. 7-9 has many free aspects to it, including
keynote speeches, workshops,
exhibit floor (with food), etc. The paid conference includes some
excellent tutorials and
sessions.
Cheers.

I have not been able to locate a website or any public
information on
the so called "TrustedFlash Forum". Is this a proprietary
