Unloading Autoloader Magazines

It seems to me that a change would be in SSC as I do not see an existing
command in SMC that I think would be appropriate.

I am not sure what you mean by "...eject only causes a media movement..."
since eject is not defined in SMC or SSC.

Correct, Load/Unload is only specified to affect the DT element. My query
pertains to expanding its use to a magazine in Media Changers or Attached
Media Changes.

To which standards would this be pertinent to?

An eject only causes a media movmement action in changers that
automatically retrieve ejected media to place in a storage element.

A Load/Unload affects the contained DT element (tape drive)- it doesn't
really *necessarily* have any bearing on the media changer at all.
