Need clarification on SAS dword synchronization.
In the SAS doc 3d, clause 6.8 SP_DWS, Fig 63 SP_DWS state machine.
According to the state machine, it does not require to detect 3
"consecutive" primitives to declare dword synchronization. It allows
normal
valid dword in between the 3 primitives and still can claim dword
synchronization which is not the same as Fibre Channel. Fibre Channel
requires 3 consecutive primiitves to be detected. Is it what SAS want to
have word sync different from Fibre Channel? If the answer is yes, is
there
any reason why?
