In SPC-3 the definition for the TAS bit in the Control Mode page =
states:

"A task aborted status (TAS) bit of zero specifies that aborted tasks
shall

be terminated by the device server without any response to the
initiator.

A TAS bit of one specifies that tasks aborted by the actions of another

initiator shall be terminated with a TASK ABORTED status (see SAM-2)."

My question is:

Is the initiator referred to in the first sentence ANY initiator since
the issuing

initiator receives no indication that a task has been aborted other =
than
the

response to the task management request?
