This revision incorporates changes resulting from Ralph Weber's comments in
01-299r1. Individual responses to his comments follow.

sam2r20, sub-clause 5.8.4.3, Autosense, middle of page 68, pdf page 91,
second paragraph of that subclause.

Ralph's proposed change:
Instead of deleting the statement that sense data shall be cleared, reword
to state that sense data shall only be cleared if uaintlck is zero.

Response:
Accepted.

sam2r20, sub-clause 5.8.5, Unit Attention condition, bottom of page 68 (pdf
page 91) through most of page 69 (pdf page 92), entire contents of that
sub-clause.

Ralph's proposed change:
Note that in the unit attention subclause rewrite there are two list item a)
’s following the paragraph that begins:
"If a REQUEST SENSE command enters the enabled task state..."

Response:
Accepted.

sam2r20, sub-clause 5.8.5, Unit Attention condition, bottom of page 68 (pdf
page 91) through most of page 69 (pdf page 92), entire contents of that
sub-clause.

Ralph's proposed change:
First sentence of the last paragraph of the rewritten 5.8.5. This sentence
discusses current behavior when a unit attention condition is reported with
an asynchronous event report or with autosense. The text in 00-359r6 says
"the logical unit may clear the unit attention", the current text is sam2r20
says "the logical unit shall clear the unit attention". Ralph further
offers to duck the issue with an alternate wording that avoids use of either
"may" or "shall".

Response:
Rejected. I was directed to change "shall" to "may" by the July CAP working
group.

spc3r02, sub-clause 8.3.6, Control mode page, middle of page 203, pdf page
224, new paragraph describing uaintlck bit.

Ralph's proposed change:
Rewording of an editorial nature.

Response:
Accepted. Ralph is the editor of SPC-3 and entitled to make whatever
editorial changes he wishes.
