This new proposal has been posted to the T10 web site and added to the
CAP agenda for next week's meeting:
01-318r0 SAM-2 SPC-3 Eliminate SCSI-2 references and describe CA
As the title indicates, it removes all the references to SCSI-2 left in
SAM-2 and SPC-3. The main technical change is that it documents CA
(contingent allegiance) in SAM-2. It also removes the rule that
protocols support untagged commands.
This proposal assumes Ed Gardner's 00-359r7 (Unit Attention Interlock)
is accepted, quoting text from that proposal wherever it makes changes.
