We cannot commit ourselves to an active participation.

Comments attached to Yes ballot from Gene Milligan of
Seagate Technology:

Hopefully George Penokie does not vote no due to thinking I am taking the
editorship away from him. The designation is to ensure that the international
communications flow through the IR to the bonofide editor.

The answer to question 6 is always confusing when the answer to question 5 is
Yes. We have already made the contribution. So do we have another contribution

within 90 days or did that include the contribution we made in minus days?

Luckily the answer to question 6 has no impact on the outcome of the vote.

None of the above comments should be considered part of the ballot response.
They are really just chit chat for those that may have an interest in the
process.

I think it would be less confusing to leave the voting by T10 to the basic
question and leave the IR to fill out the form. But in this case the IR goofed

and forgot to submit the appropriate (standard) answer to the six questions.

Because of the goof any prior objection to the ballot is declared null and
void.
