Sriram,
You are correct there is an error and it was not corrected in rev 11. I
have noted this and it should get fixed in rev 12. The same error occurs in
step 3 of the next list in that section. In both cases the term 'negation'
should be 'assertion'.

     I have a question reg. subclause 10.5.2.2.2.1 (data group pad field
and
pCRC field transfer to initiator)

     In step 3) of this subclause, it states the following:

     3) wait at least the longer of a pCRC transmit setup time from the
        <<NEGATION>> of P_CRCA or a transmit setup time from DB(15-0) being
        driven with valid pad data;

     *********

     Shouldn't the word in the angled brackets read ASSERTION instead of
NEGATION?  Please clarify.
