NOTICE: Motions to recommend the withdrawal four ANSI standards are on the
T10 agenda for the May 1999 meeting. These standards are:

X3.276:1997 SCSI-3 Controller Commands (SCC)
X3.253:1995 SCSI-3 Parallel Interface (SPI) and X3.253/AM1:1998 SPI
Amendment #1
X3.292:1997 SCSI-3 Interlocked Protocol (SIP)
X3.277:1996 Fast-20 (Fast-20)

When a standard is withdrawn it can no longer be purchased from ANSI and
should not be referenced in product specifications. Consider using the
following newer standards in place of these older standards:

NCITS.318:1998 SCSI Controller Commands-2 (SCC-2)
X3.302:1999 SCSI Parallel Interface - 2 (SPI-2)

If you object to the withdrawal of any of the four older standards, please
contact me and/or attend the May T10 meeting.

John Lohmeyer, Chair T10
