I have posted a document requesting the definition of a new name server
object for the FC-GS-3 document. This object would provide a summary
identification of the class of device attached to a port by providing
the SCSI INQUIRY data for logical unit 0 through the name server.

This was based on work done last year in 98-508v0. The document is now
posted to the T11 web-site as 99-736v0.
