This is a subject that should interest the Fibre Channel working group as 
well so my suggestion is the very opposite of yours. If it was at the start 
of the working group the FC folks who are interested could come over to 
listen. FC-AL-3 is the subject this month and the ideas from Minnesota have 
relevance to SANs and FC in general even though they are SCSI commands.
