Meeting Notes;
1.0  Opening Remarks
The meeting was called to order at 9:20 AM on November 30, 1998. As usual the
chair thanked Frank Banul of Texas Instruments for hosting the meetings. The
standard initial statements were made as follows;

This meeting has been authorized by NCITS T10 and will be conducted under the
NCITS rules.  Ad hoc meetings take no final actions, but prepare
recommendations for approval by the NCITS task group.  The voting rules for
the meeting are those of the parent committee, NCITS T10.  For the ad hoc,
other than straw votes, the voting rules are: one vote per participating
company.

The minutes of this meeting will be posted to the Symbios T10 BBS, the SCSI
Reflector, the MMC Reflector, and will be included in the next T10 committee
mailing.
It is the plan of the group to present the document to the Plenary in March
for a vote to forward for First Public Review. At the completion of the
working group session in January a revision 10 will be issued for review by
the committee and final revisions will be included in a revision 11 for the
March Plenary.

2.0 Introductions and Attendance
Attendance at a working group meeting does not count toward minimum attendance
requirements for T10 membership.  Working group meetings are open to any
person or company to attend and to express their opinion on the subjects being
discussed.

3.0      Document Distribution
Electronic copies of Rev 9A4 were made available. MMC2R09 PDf was available on
the Symbios FTP site.   Soft copies of  Panasonic's comments were distributed.

4.0 Call for Patents: The usual call for patents was made. No patents were
identified.

5.0      Approval of Agenda  - Agenda was approved as modified.

6.0      Meeting Agenda
6.1 - Letter Ballot Comment Resolution
Han Zou of Panasonic distributed a list of comments based on a comparison of
Mt Fuji3 with the current version of MMC2. All of the comments were accepted,
(see attached Excel spreadsheet) and the document was modified as requested,
except for those listed as follows:
1. Comments 2, 48, 51, 65, Rejected - The tables indicated show relationship
of response data and for clarity show continuation of response data in
relation to header data.
2. Comments 43, 44, 45, 46, Modified - rewrote the paragraph and updated the
tables content.
PREVENT/ALLOW Command and persistent bit definition - A new proposal, from the
SCSI-3 working group, to include the definition in SPC-2 of the persistent
bit. This comment is to be carryover to the January Working group meetings. 

6.2 - ANNEX C (2 NO votes related to this item) missing/not included. Annex C
was written and is now included in revision 9A4. 

6.3 - Develop SCSI ANNEX - Completed an implementation reference for SCSI.
Includes items unique to the interface, such as the various resets and mode
pages.

6.4 - FCP ANNEX Review - this item is a carryover to the January meeting.

7.0   New Business  - No new business was presented.

8.0 Review of Action Items - 
The editor to incorporate the items requested from Mt Fuji3 document by the
next working group session for review. 

9.0      Future Meeting Schedule
