I'm not sure I'd say we're "planning to" use it, but I wouldn't rule it out.
We're currently using SCSI2 Reserve/Release to enable sharing of a tape
device between multiple systems. Persistent Reserve will make that a lot
simpler, and it's quite possible that we'd want to use APTPL with that.
