TO THE SBP-2 ad hoc WORKING GROUP:

The SBP-2 draft is unclear as to whether or not support for QUERY LOGINS is
mandatory.

The intent of QUERY LOGINS was to permit an initiator that could not login to
a target to identify the current owner(s). Although this seems as useful in a
single-initiator device as in a multi-initiator one, I notice that tailgate
makes no provision to support QUERY LOGINS.

So, was QUERY LOGINS intended to be optional?
