Peter Johansson felt that Revision 0 of the X3T10 minutes did not capture
what he said about 1394. After jabbing him about the need for electronic
reports, we have revised item 12.4 of the minutes as follows:

"12.4 IEEE 1394 [Johansson]

Peter Johansson reported that a draft for P1394a will be available at the

committee meeting next week. He provided the following 1394 taxonomy:

IEEE 1394-1995 (also IEEE Std 1394-1995): The designation for the IEEE
1394
                                           standard
P1394a: Project for performance enhancements and clarifications
P1394b:   Project for plug-compatible high-speed extensions
P1394.1:  Project for bridges
P1394.2:  Project for scalable gigabit alternatives (not plug compatible;

          preserves transaction layers)"

The above will appear in Revision 1 of the X3T10 minutes.
