Folks,

I have placed the following documents on playground.sun.com in the
directory /pub/IEEEID for your anonymous ftp pleasure. They have
been slightly modified since you last saw them to correct a small
typo and indicate acceptance of the proposal (in the case of FCID-1) and to
emphasize the common usage of company_ids for all IEEE identifier formats
(in the case of 97-101r0 and FCTUT-1).

97-101r0.doc	IEEE tutorial for SCSI use of company_id, frame
97-101r0.ps	IEEE tutorial for SCSI use of company_id, postscript

FCID-1.doc	FC-PH changes to include NAA for IEEE company_id, frame
FCID-1.ps	FC-PH changes to include NAA for IEEE company_id, ps
			(This is X3T11/96-467)

FCTUT-1.doc	IEEE tutorial for FC use of company_id, frame
FCTUT-1.ps	IEEE tutorial for FC use of company_id, postscript

To the best of my knowledge, these are now "mature and correct" documents
that indicate how the IEEE company_id and registration procedure works
for FC and SCSI devices. I expect that the tutorials will be mapped
over to IEEE's web pages soon. I will notify you when they are
available there. I expect that the SCSI documents will be mapped over
to the X3T10 web pages at http://www.symbios.com/x3t10 in the near
future as well.
