X3 Announces the Public Comment Period for Information technology -
Computer graphics and image processing - Image Processing and
Interchange (IPI) - Functional Specification - Part 2: Programmer's
imaging kernel systems application program interface

X3, Information Technology announces the two-month public review of
changes to ISO/IEC 12087-2.
Due to the technical changes that resulted from the DIS ballot period, a
summary of these changes has been submitted to ANSI for two-month
public review and comment period.
The public review extends from October 28, 1994 to December 27, 1994.
ISO/IEC 12087-2 establishes the specification of the application program
interface (API), called the Programmer's Imaging Kernel System (PIKS).
Note: This standard has been processed simultaneously as an American
National Standard and an International Standard.
