Slew Rates

Giles has presented a good analysis of the issue but:

I think an alternative was missed. It is not clear that the Fast 20 was
intended to have a different slew rate. It may have been that the proposers
felt they could generate a "better specification" that embraced their parts.
Having switchable slew rates depending upon the negotiated peak rate is not
acceptable. A great deal of evidence is needed to change the present specified
slew rate.
