Jim,

Your intent is good but I think your proposal does not carry out that
intent.  I agree with Jerry that using one of the reserved modes in
the mode field or the two bits that are reserved in byte one of the
Write Buffer Command to do the function is better than doing a new command.

Trying to find a way to do the download using a combination of Buffer ID
and Buffer offset with mode 100b and 101b that does not conflict with
someones vendor specific implementation seems impossible.
