I think the proposal is reasonable, but I would not like to see the DRC bit
sandwiched into the AEN controls in byte 4.
I suggest using byte 2, bit 7. I know of an accepted proposal that adds another
logging control in byte 2, bit 1 but nothing else in byte 2. There was also a
proposal accepted (I think it was accepted, written by Gene Milligan) that
added an ARC bit and some other things. Shouldn't your proposal be updated to
include these other items, in the interest of accuracy? I know this process is
complicated by the fact that there is no SCSI-3 document that pulls all this
together.
