One question for host guys:

What will you do if you assert ATN and then the phase which the drive
enters to receive the messages is CMD?  Don't you do a phase check to
make sure that your are in the right phase?

If you do the phase check, a broken ATN is not worth worrying about
since you will see CMD phase and 6, 10 or 12 bytes requested by the
target.  Many of the chips I have seen have an interrupt for a phase
mismatch.  Isn't this whole arguement a mute point?
