Alternate Member Letter Ballot Notice

TO: Alternate Members of X3T10

RE: Letter Ballots in Progress

Two letter ballots are in progress; one for the ATA-3 project proposal
and one for the ATAPI project proposal.  Principal members have been
sent their letter ballots along with a copy of each project proposal.

The balloting period closes August 29, 1994 at 12:00 noon.  All ballots
should be returned to John Lohmeyer, Chair of X3T10.

All comments on the project proposals should be attached to your letter
ballot.  Do not post your comments on the reflector as this will 
invalidate your companies vote.  John has requested that he receive
the comments electronically either via an email to him or a posting
on the SCSI BBS.

The project proposals have been posted to the ATA reflector.  The 
proposals and a copy of the ballots will be in the next X3T10
mailing.
