Dear Sir,

Thank you for your letter regarding SCSI.  I have add Quantel to the vendor ID 
list (attached).  

I will give your proposal on adding a REQUEST TEST SENSE command to the 
committee -- they should be most interested.  A similar facility already 
exists for returning FRU (Field Replacable Unit) information via the INQUIRY 
command.

Although your letter says that I may share your "Paintbox V Series Remote 
Access Port" specification with interested committee members, I hesitate to  
include a confidential document in the committee mailing, which goes to 
hundreds of companies.  Therefore, unless I hear otherwise from you, I will 
not include the specification in the committee mailing.
