Tim Symons presented a proposal to apply two-phase commit semantics to
changing zoning configurations (06-286r3). The group discussed the error
recovery aspects of the proposal and requested several changes.

The group expressed a strong desire to add a model section to the proposal and
Tim agreed to do so. In addition, Tim noted numerous changes and agreed to
prepare a new revision for consideration at the next meeting.

4.2 SAS-2 Allow More Than One ZPSDS in a SAS Domain (06-279r3) [Elliott]

Rob Elliott presented a proposal to allow more than one ZPSDS in a SAS Domain
(06-279r2). The group asked that certain black lines be changed to a different
color to indicate that they represent out-of-band data transmission methods.
Rob agreed to prepare a new revision of the proposal.

in SAS-2. Kevin Marks seconded the motion. In the absence of any objections,
the motion passed unanimously.

4.4 SAS-2: Reporting ZONE PARTICIPATING CAPABLE in the IDENTIFY address
frame (06-210r4) [Marks]

Tim Symons presented a proposal to define the SMP function used to configure
the zoning properties of an expander Phy (06-201r4).

Tim noted several corrections and enhancements for incorporation in the next
revision of the proposal which he promised to have ready for discussion at the
next meeting.

5.2 SAS-2 Expander Route Table (CONFIGURE EXPANDER ROUTE TABLE) (06-214r1)
[Johnson]

meeting.

5.3 SAS-2 SMP REPORT ZONE PERMISSION function (06-203r6) [Symons]

Tim Symons presented a proposal that defined an SMP function for returning
zone permission table information (06-203r4).

The group discussed how best to report errors in which the number of
descriptors present in the frame disagreed with a list size value.

Tim agreed to prepare a new revision of the proposal for consideration at the
next meeting.

5.4 SAS-2 SMP CONFIGURE ZONE PERMISSION function (06-202r9) [Symons]

Tim Symons presented a proposal to define an SMP function that configures the

with that one.

Tim agreed to prepare a new revision of this proposal and/or 06-286r5 for
consideration at the next meeting.

5.7 SAS-2 SMP Zone Lock Timer (06-326r2) [Symons]
