You should probably use SPC4 or SPC5. SPC-2 is very old.
You can specify which exact version you report in the standard inquiry
page that you return to the initiator.
For wireshark, don't look trust it too much when it says SPC-2. The
wireshark SCSI dissector was written a long long time ago and has not
been updated regarding these mode pages for a long time.
I don;t even know if wireshark even tries to check which version of
SPC is in play.
I think it might actually have SPC-2 hardcoded.
