Gerry Houlder wrote "I have the impression that the READ CONTINUOUS bit,
in the READ WRITE RECOVERY mode page, is not used by anyone. I think it
boils down to everyone wanting data that can be trusted, even in video
applications. Does anyone have an application that justifies keeping this
feature? "
IBM desires to keep the READ CONTINUOUS bit.
