Gerry,
I suggest an editorial rewording:
Change:
<<If any deferred microcode (see SPC-4) has been received as a result of:
a) a WRITE BUFFER command with mode 0Dh and a BUFFER ID field that
specifies the FORMAT UNIT command as an activation event; or
b) a WRITE BUFFER command with mode 0Eh;
then that deferred microcode shall replace the current operational
microcode. >>
To:
<<A deferred microcode (see SPC-4), if any, shall replace the current
operational microcode if that deferred microcode has been received as a
result of:
a) a WRITE BUFFER command with mode 0Dh and a BUFFER ID field that
specifies the FORMAT UNIT command as an activation event; or
b) a WRITE BUFFER command with mode 0Eh;
>>
Thanks,
