Hannes,
The statement would have been more clear stated as:
The user data segment referral descriptor (see table 10) is defined in the
user data segment referral sense data descriptor.
The format of the user data segment referral descriptor that is used in the
REPORT REFERRALS parameter data is defined in table 10.
The length of the VPD page is supposed to be 000Ch, there was a translation
error when the field was changed from a 1 byte to a 2 byte field.
Thanks for pointing these out. I will see that the next versions of the
standards has those fixed.
Bye for now,

Hi all,
sbc3r24 p131 states:
The user data segment referral descriptor is defined in the user data segment
referral sense data descriptor
(see table 10).
However, table 10 refers to the 'User data segment referral descriptor
format', not the sense data descriptor.
Could you please clarify which of those is intended to be used?
Also the referrals VPD page in section 6.5.4 has a page length of 00C0h, but
uses only 16 bytes. What is the
intention of the non-defined bytes?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Hannes Reinecke
