Hi Bill,
The Common Diagnostic Model is an "OS independent" diagnostic framework
that defines a standard interface for diagnostic modules. However, the
standard doesn't define component level diagnostic commands.
You can get more info at the following web site:
		http://www.dmtf.org
The group is promoting a Management Developers Conference (MDC) on
December 4 - 7, 2006 in Santa Clara, CA, but the conference is not free.
There should be members of Forum Leadership companies on this reflector.
Hopefully, they can also add more info.

Hello T10 world,
We hear that something called the Common Diagnostic Model (CDM) has
gained interest. It appears to be mostly a network and software
"thing", but is anyone aware of device/command requirements?
Thank you,
Bill McFerrin and MMC
