It has been pointed out that proposal 05-157r9 did not address command set
standards besides SPC-4. The SECURITY PROTOCOL IN and SECURITY PROTOCOL OUT
commands were defined as being added (as optional) to the "commands for all
device types" table, but similar "commands supported" tables in other
command set standards were not specifically mentioned. I intended that a
reference to these two commands be added to SBC-3, MMC-5, and SSC-3 (these
are the most active command sets at this time).

The SBC-3 editor wanted a reflector message asking for this addition, so
there is an opportunity for the group to object to this action. If anyone
disagrees with having these two commands added as "optional" to all of
these command set standards (or any other command set standards) please
send a message to the SCSI reflector voicing your concerns.
