Dear Mr Burg,
Due to the common use of the track/session model across several media types,
I have proposed that I should add a general track/session model to MMC-5.
That means that we shall need such definitions, but in a more general way.
If you are focussing upon only CD, then please look at MMC-1. It had
informational annexes that were dropped in MMC-2.
Kind Regards,
Bill McFerrin

Dear MMC members,
I'm looking for a summary document of the various track states (Invisible
Tracks, Reserved Tracks, Incomplete Tracks, and Closed Tracks). Google found
a useful (but old!) illustrated document of the various track states at
http://www.t10.org/ftp/t10/document.95/95-104r0.pdf . Other later documents
describe the command set more correctly than this preliminary document, but
the early document provides illustration of the basic concepts of CD-R
recording that does not appear in later MMC documents.
Do you know of a newer document including such nice summary?
Best regards,
David Burg
