MMC Members:
In MMC3R2G, the last paragraph in 4.2.5 the following description has no
reference:

"The status of the play operation may be determined by issuing a REQUEST
SENSE command. The sense key is set to NO SENSE, the ASC is set to NO
ADDITIONAL SENSE DATA and the audio status (see ) is reported in the
additional sense code qualifier field."

The behavior is optional, so the word "may" needs to be more carefully
placed. I have modified the text as follows:

"The status of the play operation may be determined by issuing a REQUEST
SENSE command. If SK is set to NO SENSE, and the ASC is set to NO
ADDITIONAL SENSE DATA, then the ASCQ value may contain audio status as shown
in Table 433."

Table 433 is the Audio Status table in the READ SUB-CHANNEL command
description.

Additionally, beginning with MMC-1, the annex table that contains all
SK/ASC/ASCQ combinations incorrectly shows 5 (ILLEGAL REQUEST) as the SK
value for the above described condition. That has also been corrected to
show 0 (NO SENSE).

Regards,
Bill McFerrin
