including a four-hour in-depth introduction to security fundamentals on the
afternoon of the first day of the summit which will detail the historical
background to cryptography, basic security concepts & terms, and the
operation of currently-popular symmetric and asymmetric cryptography
schemes. The summit will end with an open "Town Hall" discussion between the
attenders and all of the presenters to start to establish a road map for
storage network security and to identify the activities needed to meet
emerging requirements.
