Hi George,
I understood the speed selection and early power off to be in the proposal
stage. If they are approved, I would expect them to be incorporated in this
proposal also. Spindle sync is not a useful concept for tape drives. The 3.3
Volt lines have never been used to my knowledge. I think the industry will move
to 2.5 Volts quickly anyway. This proposal has two additional 3.3 volt lines
over the SFF-8067 standard that would become reserved.
