Does noone implement multiblock read/write long to
let the host decide when to trade capacity for
reliability and when not to?

That is, the host could use read/write long to
fetch/store raw, uncompressed or frame-compressed,
video data in which bit - or even frame - errors
matter less than sustained data transfer rate and
capacity - and the usual read/write to fetch/store
with full integrity.

I've never seen this in real-life - but I've seen
it repeatedly only on the backs of lunch napkins.
