	Subject:	SCSI-2 Medium-Changer Devices field descriptions


	The names of certain fields in the SCSI-2 (Rev 10c) Medium-Changer
	specification contradict their actual function.  I propose that the
	names be changed to reflect their true function.


	Section 16.2.5 READ ELEMENT STATUS command

	Change "Number of Elements Reported" in Table 16-9 to

		"Number of Elements Available".


	Change first sentence third paragraph of 16.2.5.1 to

		The number of elements available field indicates the number of
		elements meeting the request in the command descriptor block.



	Section 16.2.6 REQUEST VOLUME ELEMENT ADDRESS command

	Change "Number of Elements Reported" in Table 16-16 to

		"Number of Elements Available".
