           High-Density System Interconnection Meeting


An ad hoc meeting on system cabling with high-density connectors 
will be held Tuesday morning, June 19, 1990, in Wichita, Kansas, 
beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the same hotel as the plenary meeting 
(Wichita Hilton East 316-686-7131 -- "X3T9" group).

Connector vendors, cable vendors, cable assembly vendors, and 
systems integrators are encouraged to participate.  Short 
presentations (10 minute or less) on how to interconnect SCSI 
systems using high-density connectors and cables are requested. 
A "Show-and-tell" time will be available at the end of the 
meeting to demonstrate actual hardware.

This meeting is being held because several people have indicated 
that they are having trouble finding high-density connector and 
cable solutions, especially for the 68-position cables.  
Hopefully, this meeting will provide an opportunity to identify 
elusive solutions and to establish what issues remain in high-
density interconnection.
