Subject:  Working Group Meeting, January 6,7, and 8, 1988
 
 
The  January,  1988  working group meeting for  X3T9.2  has  been 
arranged  for  January 6,  7,  and 8  (Wednesday,  Thursday,  and 
Friday) in San Jose California.   It will be held at the San Jose 
Airport  Radisson  Hotel,   1471  North  4th  Street,  San  Jose, 
California 95112.  The phone number is (408) 298-0100.
 
A block of rooms is being held under the name ANSI for attendees.  
The room rate is $75.00 for single or double rooms.  Twenty rooms 
are  being held for the night of Jan 5 and thirty rooms for  each 
of  the other two nights.   Please make your reservations  before 
December 15 to assure yourself of a room.  
 
The  Radisson  is  served by the San Jose Airport.   A  phone  is 
available in the baggage claim area of the airport to request the 
Radisson  shuttle.   The  Radisson is an 8 minute trip  from  the 
airport.
 
The  San  Jose area has many pleasant restaurants within a  short 
distance of the Radisson.
 
Quantum  and Adaptec will be happy to welcome the  working  group 
attendees to San Jose, the center of the Silicon Valley.
