Ah, I see, you are referring to the change proposed in 'commnet_fuji7-2.pdf'.
Yes, 02/04/08 will confuse application or system software. 05/2C/00 is a
better choice.
With regards,
David.

Dear Katata-san,
Is fuji7r100 not the latest version? I am looking at fuji7r100 and I do not
see the same text as you describe:

Subject: Proposal: change of the error code
Hello all,
Pioneer would like to propose a change of an error code.
Originally added sentence before table 769 on page 863.
"Once a write command is received this command shall be terminated with CHECK
CONDITION status, 2/04/08 LOGICAL UNIT NOT READY, LONG WRITE IN PROGRESS."
Proposed sentence:
"Once a write command is received this command shall be terminated with CHECK
CONDITION status, 05/2C/00 Command Sequence Error."
Reason:
"LONG WRITE IN PROGRESS" means that later drive may accept the command. But
this
case is the error of the sequence. Therefore "Command Sequence Error" is
appropriate.
Please send any comment to reflector or me.
Best regards,
Keiji Katata
