Alvin,
I'm not sure which figure your comment 1 is referring to,
but 'Figure 1 - Reference transmitter test load physical characterization' in
the proposal is the same figure that is already in the 'Reference transmitter
test load' section. I an not proposing it be moved nor am I proposing any change
to it (except fixing some undefined words).
Figure A.1 in the proposal is new and a more specific
version of 'Figure 1 - Reference transmitter test load physical
characterization' showing more details of the specific setup. Figure A.2
essentially replaces the picture with a more useful drawing that actually show
more closely how the setup is connected.
I have no problem doing one of two
things:
- making this annex nominative; or
- moving the words on the zip files back into the main
text. Assuming we can come up with some meaningful words in the
process.
Bye for now,

I have a couple of isues with this.
1. The figure is a general figure
for TxRx connections rather than specific to the test load. It should probably
be in the TxRx section of chapter 5.
2. Although the pdf file describing how the 10-meter cable was measured
is informative, the s-parameter zip file is normative and required for
simulations used to test the transmitter and receiver.
It will be on the agenda for discussion.

| Proposal to replace the reference
to 07-193 in SAS-2 with an annex |

This is a re-creation of
07-193r1 putting it into a form that can be placed into the SAS-2 standard as an
informative annex. If you have any comments let me know. I suspect it will be
high on the agenda for the next SAS-2 phy call.
