I am a little confused by this.

1) The comment talks of the HRE bit.  I assume that is the TDDEC bit.
2) The TDDEC bit is called "tape diagnostic data encrypt created".  Why is "encrypt" in here?  You descriptions and front material make no mention of encryption.  I think you must have carried "encrypt" over from something else.  Or maybe it is supposed to be entry instead of encrypt?
3) Log Page 16h is not available on an ADC device.  Do you plan to add this page as an available page for ADC devices?  It looks like you do because you use the phrase, "by this I_T nexus" which I am interpreting as this I_T_L nexus.  Perhaps you really do mean this I_Tnexus and the L is intended to be the SSC LUN.
