Subject: Question on phy event counters
>From clause 4.2.8 of SAS2r14 there is only one PHY IDENTIFIER per physical
phy and the logical phys are associated with the same PHY Identifier. This
means that phy events cannot be counted on individual logical phys. Is it
the intent that all counts be an aggregation of the counts for the logical
phys within a phy? Based on the responses to this, I will generate
clarifying letter ballot comments.
Thanks for any input,
