Dear Mt. Fuji and T10 members,
Microsoft has been considering how to standardize firmware updating
processes for devices that support this.  A small section of this
document also deals with the use of a single serial number for use
across the various bus types and command sets that currently enable it
to be reported.
A preliminary version of this document is now available.  If you or your
company has an interest in either of these subjects, please reply to
myself and David Walp (please not the entire reflectors) and we will
give you access to the document.
