Eric Hibbard has forwarded the following and enclosed information on balloting the
IEEE P1619 project, entitled Cryptographic Protection of Data on Block-Oriented
Storage Devices.  If you are interested in voting on this ballot, you must first
be an IEEE member and and IEEE Standards Association member.  Membership
can be obtained through http://www.ieee.org/web/membership/join/join.html .  This
website allows you to join both organizations and create the necessary IEEE web account.
Membership and voting rights are individual.
 
You may then follow the directions in the enclosed ballot invitation to become a
member of the ballot committee.
