The following proposal will be on the agenda this week. Please review 
before the call. It has to do with OOB at 1,5 Gbps only for SAS-2.
>From a pure specification perspective, SAS phy's that do not support being 
attached to SATA are not required to recognize an OOB signal burst that 
consists of a D24.3 pattern at 1,5 Gbps. It would be helpful for all 
silicon and device suppliers to review their sAS 1.1 OOB detector designs 
and determine if this proposal will cause any compatibility problems (do 
existing phy's OOB detectors work with a D24.3 character OOB signal)
